IncobotulinumtoxinA (Xeomin)
From 1 April 2015, four new items have been listed for injecting Xeomin:
- Item 18353: For cervical dystonia (spasmodic torticollis);
- Item 18365: For post-stroke spasticity of the upper limb in adults;
- Item 18369: For unilateral blepharospasm in adults; and
- Item 18374: For bilateral blepharospasm in adults.

The new items are exactly the same as existing item 18352 (Botox or Dysport for cervical dystonia), item 18364 (Dysport for post-stroke spasticity of the upper limb in adults) and items 18371 and 18373 (Dysport for blepharospasm in adults) with the addition of
'IncobotulinumtoxinA (Xeomin)' in the descriptor of each item.

Note: Existing items 18352, 18364, 18371 and 18373 will be removed from the schedule in the coming months. As such, it is important that botulinum toxin providers transition to billing the new items instead of the existing items from 1 April 2015.
