A new cardiac service for the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation in patients with embolic stroke of undetermined source, involving a new item for the insertion of implantable loop recorders (ILR), and another for investigation of the inserted ILR.
Amendment to item 15565 for preparation of an intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) dosimetry plan

Four new items (two K items and two NK items) have been introduced for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the cardiovascular system for the diagnosis of arrthymogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) for patients who have presented with symptoms or investigative findings consistent with ARVC or are asymptomatic with a family history of confirmed ARVC.

Whole body 68Ga-DOTA-peptide Positron Emission Tomography (PET) study
A new item has been introduced for Whole body 68GA-DOTA peptide PET study, including any associated computed tomography scans for anatomic localisation or attenuation correction, if:
(a) a gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour is suspected on the basis of biochemical evidence with negative or equivocal conventional imaging; or
(b) a surgically amenable gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour has been identified on the basis of conventional techniques, in order to exclude additional disease sites.
