About our email bulletins
Our email bulletins provide:
- the agendas for upcoming PASC, ESC and MSAC meetings – these list the applications that are scheduled for consideration at the meeting
- the closing date for consultation input – for the applications on the meeting agenda
- important updates – such as changes to MSAC processes.
Privacy statement
Your personal information is protected by law, including the Privacy Act 1988. We will only use your personal information to send you email bulletins. Find out more about how we manage personal information on our privacy page.
Who we disclose your personal information to
We use Campaign Monitor, an international email marketing service, to manage this mailing list.
When you subscribe, you consent to Campaign Monitor collecting your email address on our behalf. Campaign Monitor also receives information from cookies about your use of the website (including your IP address). We recommend you read their privacy policy.
How we store your information
Your information will be transmitted to, and stored on Campaign Monitor servers overseas.
Ordinarily, where we disclose personal information to an overseas recipient, Australian Privacy Principle (APP) 8.1 requires us to take reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipient does not breach the APPs.
However, if you subscribe to our mailing list:
- APP 8.1 will not apply to this disclosure
- we will not be accountable under the Privacy Act for any subsequent use or disclosure by the overseas recipient
- you will not be able to seek redress under the Privacy Act.
How you can access or correct your information
If you need to change your email address, use the link provided by Campaign Monitor in the email bulletin.
Cancelling a subscription
To cancel your subscription, select the unsubscribe link at the top of any email bulletin.
