Description of Medical Service

The proposed medical service is the reading, interpreting and if necessary acting on periodic and event-triggered messages in a remote setting (as opposed to an in-office setting). Remote monitoring comprises remote data analysis performed by clinicians to evaluate cardiac health as well as device and lead functioning.

Description of Medical Condition

The proposed medical service is relevant for patients with implanted cardiac devices, e.g. implantable pacemakers, implantable cardioverter/defibrillators or implantable devices for cardiac resynchronisation therapy.
