Dr Mark Khangure Dr Khangure was born in India, but grew up and was educated in England. He attended the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, achieving his MBBS in 1971 and MRCP in 1974. Dr Khangure commenced radiology training 1975, emigrated to Australia in 1976, and completed his radiology training at Royal Perth Hospital (FRCR in 1979 and FRANZCR in 1980). Dr Khangure was a consultant neuroradiologist at Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospitals from 1982—2006, holding the posts of inaugural Director of MRI, Director of Imaging Services, and Director of Interventional Neuroradiology.

Dr Khangure is past President and gold medal recipient of RANZCR, President of ANZSNR, and Emeritus Consultant at Royal Perth Hospital. He has previously been a clinical professor a the University of Western Australia.

Dr Khangure is a consultant neuoradiologist at SKG Radiology (St John of God Healthcare Perth Hospitals) since 2007 and has been a federal AMA councillor since 2010. In addition to his expertise in diagnostic imaging of the brain, spine, and head & neck (ENT), Dr Khangure has expertise in spinal interventions for pain management.
