Service or technology in this application

Computed tomography (CT) colonography is a CT scan to look at the bowel and has been shown to detect cancer and precancerous growths. CT colonography is an alternative test to colonoscopy that is minimally invasive.

Colorectal cancer is a common cancer in Australia and is a frequent cause of cancer death. Australia has invested in a cancer screening program and patients with suspected cancer are currently referred for colonoscopy.
