You must refer to this framework if you are applying for a new or amended Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) item and your proposed MBS item descriptor refers to a specific radiopharmaceutical or a set of radiopharmaceuticals.

If this framework applies to your application, you must provide extra information in your application form about the radiopharmaceutical or set of radiopharmaceuticals. This is in addition to the information requirements set out in the guidelines for preparing assessments for MSAC.
