A proposal was received seeking a funding model that reflected contemporary addiction medicine practice, for example, time-tiered specialist professional attendance items and specialist case conferencing items which reflect multidisciplinary management integral to effective and efficient addiction medicine practice. This will include MBS items for complex treatment and management planning.

Medical condition this application addresses

Addiction medicine patients suffer from any form of addiction, including, but not limited to, substance-abuse, gambling and sexual addictions, and obsessive-compulsive behaviours.
