The Applicant is seeking a review of the following proposed medical services:

Processing and handling of ovarian tissue in preparation for cryostorage as part of fertility preservation treatment for female patients who have or will receive gonadotoxic treatment.

Processing and handling of semen in preparation for cryostorage as part of fertility preservation treatment for male patients who have or will receive gonadotoxic treatment.

Processing and handling of testicular tissue in preparation for cryostorage as part of fertility preservation treatment for male patients who have or will receive gonadotoxic treatment.

Medical condition this application addresses

The proposed patient population is defined by the requirement of gonadotoxic therapy. Two distinct patient populations may be defined:

  1. Patients diagnosed with malignancy
  2. Patients diagnosed with non-malignant conditions receiving gonadotoxic treatment
