Assessment report development

All applications need an assessment report. It will be either an applicant-developed assessment report or a department-contracted assessment report by a health technology assessment (HTA) group.

Applicant-developed assessment report (ADAR)

  1. Develop an ADAR
    If you are developing the assessment report for your application, use our template and guidelines. 
  2. Notify intent to lodge your ADAR
    Tell our secretariat which meeting you plan to lodge the ADAR for.
  3. Lodge your ADAR
    Lodge your ADAR online in the Health Products Portal.

Department-contracted assessment report (DCAR)

  • Develop a DCAR
    If our secretariat has agreed to a DCAR for your application, they will contract an HTA group to develop it.
