Notify intent to lodge your applicant-developed assessment report (ADAR)

Let our secretariat know which meeting you want your ADAR considered at. For applications on the standard or expedited pathway, this will be for an Evaluation Subcommittee (ESC) meeting. For applications on the direct pathway, this will be for an MSAC meeting.

This is a quick online process.

What you need to know

You must advise which ESC or MSAC meeting you intend to lodge your ADAR for. This ensures our secretariat has enough time to organise an ADAR commentary or ADAR overview paper before the meeting.

If you fail to lodge an ADAR as intended, there is no penalty. Notify your intent again when you are ready.

What you need to do

1. Confirm the deadline

To confirm the notification deadline, go to key dates for applicants and refer to the meeting date you plan to lodge your ADAR for.

2. Confirm the status of any regulatory approvals

Some services and technologies need regulatory approvals. The process for these approvals must have begun before you notify your intent. This ensures we can finalise the outcome of your application as quickly as possible.

If the process has not begun and is not likely to before the notification deadline, consider notifying your intent to lodge for a later meeting date.

3. Consider the availability of evidence or trial outcomes

Confirm any new evidence or clinical trial outcomes you want to include in your ADAR will be available before the lodgement deadline. If this is not likely, consider notifying your intent to lodge for a later meeting date.

4. Notify your intent to lodge

You must use the Health Products Portal to notify your intent. You will receive a confirmation of receipt.
