What happens in meetings
At PASC meetings, for each application on the agenda, members:
- review and advise on the PICO (population, intervention, comparator, outcome) confirmation
- consider the applicant’s comments on the PICO confirmation
- consider consultation input on the PICO and the application.
PASC encourages applicants and their nominated experts to attend PASC meetings, in line with the meeting rules.
These meetings occur in the PASC consideration stage of the MSAC process.
Our secretariat publishes the PICO confirmation after the meeting once it is ratified. It includes what PASC discussed and agreed on, a summary of the consultation input and the final PICO that will inform the assessment report.
