Portable home spirometry via telehealth is a spirometry service that will involve the patient performing their pulmonary function test at home with a qualified scientist from a respiratory lab in continuous attendance via telehealth.

Spirometry is an essential tool for managing a range of obstructive and restrictive lung diseases. Obstructive lung disease includes but is not limited to the following; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchiectasis, asthma, emphysema, and bronchiolitis. Restrictive lung disease is a heterogeneous set of lung disorders that can be divided into intrinsic and extrinsic causes. Intrinsic causes are related to inflammatory processes within the lung, and extrinsic causes may be related to conditions impacting the chest wall.
